Library of Sheet Music

 

Are you looking for some new or challenging to find sheet music scores and parts?

 

The BANSW holds a large selection of past test pieces for both solos and bands, as well as donated sheet music. Please note that some test selections will be score-only.

For three months, a registered band can hire music free of charge (except P&H). The BANSW also holds a small number of books and audio recordings available for loan.

Please get in touch with the Librarian to arrange an appointment to access the library in the BANSW office. 

If you would like to borrow any music from our library, please email our Librarian making sure you quote the catalogue number.

Conditions of use of our library

Registered Bands may borrow Band Settings, Scores, Solo’s, Duets, Trios, Quartets, Ensembles and Piano Accompaniments for three months.

All music received must be returned at the expiration of the loan period, in the same condition. All individual parts need to be checked by the borrower and sorted into the correct order before returning to the library to ensure that all settings are complete.

Any overdue or damaged settings or scores may incur a fine of $150 or the cost of replacing the music, whichever is the higher. Late solo’s, duets, trios, quartets or ensembles may incur a fine of $50 or the cost of replacing the music, whichever is the higher.

Scores for use as an adjudicators copy are available on request when lodging the entry for the contest.
